New Tech Network Community Advocates

Welcome to the New Tech Community Advocates page. As we are having trouble with google docs, this will be a central location for much of the work we will be completing together.

To see a more detailed description of what we will be doing, read our Community Advocate Strategy

Our role, as community advocates will to be role models, connectors, and role models on how we can extend the potential of Project Based Learning in a network of schools that reach across the country.

As we work together, our primary responsibilities will be:
1. Writing on our "Need to Know" blog - focusing on promoting good projects and how to create authentic PBL practice
2. Participate in and help set up a professional development calendar that includes webinars and podcasts
3. Try to get your teachers and students to use the groups
4. When possible, support groups and give Kudos and Awards in Echo
5. Contribute to a regularly published newsletter
6. Meet on a regular basis to discuss projects or opportunities to connect the schools, improve our own practice, individual advocate responsibilities, and network wide events/projects
7. Develop a curriculum personal learning community (PLC)
